Jill Johnson in Coastal Living Magazine

I've been tearing though the March issue of Coastal Living and was so happy to see one of our local Manhattan Beach designers Jill Johnson of Waterleaf Interiors featured in the magazine. The article focuses on her casual, beachy, open air custom designed remodel of her Hermosa Beach cottage. The color palette of the home is blue, green, white, and gray with splashes of yellow and turquoise. I love the turquoise armoire in her nursery above, now if I could just figure out who makes it!

Here are some more photos of the rest of the house. It looks extremely family and sand friendly. Pick up a copy of the magazine, it is a wonderful issue worth filing away.

Jill & her partner Suzanne Ascher's store Waterleaf Interiors also carries a few lines for children's rooms such as Serena & Lily, Newport Cottages, John Robshaw, Dash & Albert, and Rickshaw Designs. It is a beautiful store and worth a drop by if you live in the Los Angeles area.
