Fall Babies

And now our monthly fashion entry from our fashion contributor Sheridan French of The Southern Eclectic:

Bonnie Baby. Music to my ears when strung together, because they represent my most favorite line of infant and toddler clothing ever. {Yes, EVER!} I stumbled across this beautiful brand while living in Scotland and it was love at first site. The refreshing collection of luxury baby knitwear, t-shirts, baby blankets, hats and booties caters from newborns to two-year-olds. Designer and owner Tracey Samuel was a fashion designer for Paris fashion house Sonia Rykiel until deciding to start Bonnie Baby when her daughter was born; probably the main reason why the line is so brilliant!

There were simply too many adorable pieces to narrow down to one boy and one girl outfit, so below is a selection of my favorites. In truth, I can't pick a favorite, but go ahead and take a look over the choices below. If I HAD to pick one piece and one piece only, it would be the Apple of Daddy's Eye onesie - also available in a sweatshirt - although I desperately wish it said Mommy's Eye... I'll have to work on this!

As you can see from this portion of their collection, the vast majority of the pieces are unisex. That being said, you can definitely go as girly and over the top with bows and ruffles as you want to as shown by the Tea Rose set below, but most of the items are available in shades of blue and neutral tones on everything from onesies and sleep sacks to vests and cardigans to hoodies, hats, shoes, blankets and more. Also take note of the fact that most of their cashmere is, drumroll please, machine washable. I do not lie.

Now seriously, go hide your credit card. If you don't heed my advice, send something to me while you're going nuts on their website. My due date is in late January and baby would really like the Toucan motif playsuit mkay thanks!
