Gearing up for the holiday season unfortunately means gearing up for some empty pocket books. When it comes to kids clothes, you really don't have to break the bank to have them looking as adorable as ever. (More left over to save for a great pair of Louboutins, right? I mean for trucks and dolls...of course). Gap always does fantastic cold weather gear for the entire family, but their children's line gets extra fab leading up to Christmas. Here are some great wardrobe staples that will get tons of wear during winter:
I am absolutely loving the bright pink wool blend double-breasted peacoat for girls. For the serious fashionista, pair it with thick colorful tights and a tulle skirt. Fourteen different styles of glitzy long-sleeved tees are available but limited sizes and quantities are left so snag them while you can! I am just wondering why Gap doesn't offer the duck books with neon pink laces in my size?!
Cable knit sweaters are always a classic, even with a fun twist like large rugby stripes and cozy sherpa along the neckline. Pair it with a plaid shirt and hat for a laid back look. The flannel 1969 jeans are fantastic for really cold days. Dark grey, wear with everything duck boots will round out any cold-weather outfit...and you won't feel bad about letting him stomp around in the snow!
