The first issue of TRADhome on-line magazine went live yesterday. It is the brainchild of the editors of Traditional Home Magazine and Lonny on-line magazine and is a wonderful free publication. All 347 pages do not disappoint and you will want to read this one front to back. I just skimmed through and plan to read the whole thing this weekend. My favorite section is the "The 20 New TRAD Designers to Watch" and "Shopping in West Hollywood". But in case you didn't have two hours, I wanted to show you the highlights of children's rooms featured:
A casual, playful and sophisticated playroom designed by Jeff Andrews.
A sophisticated nursery designed for clients in Tribeca by Sara Gilbane.
A brother and sister's room designed by Ron Marvin Design in New York City. He paired basic Pottery Barn & West Elm furniture with interesting architectural and decorative elements to create these upbeat rooms.
Kim Winkler of Westbrook Interiors designs her own son Oliver's room in Atlanta with a mix of antique pieces which were family heirlooms and pieces collected through the years.
Again to reiterate, download this magazine for your iPad or iPhone to read on the plane over the Easter holidays next week. The only problem is that you will want to bookmark most of the pages!
