Toddler Room by Andrika King Design

I posted this photo a few weeks ago as a teaser of some photos that I wanted to share of a toddler room which was completed for a client in Manhattan Beach a few months ago. Here are a few before and afters:

BEFORE

AFTER

The concrete walls made the room feel too cold and industrial for a little girl. To brighten it up we decided to cover the concrete in drywall and add a fresh coat of white paint. The pieces of furniture which we kept were the Eames rocker and elephant stool, as well as the Bla Bla mobiles and Room & Board Moda twin bed. We added a few more decorative pillows to the bedding, a zebra rug from Jonathan Adler, a side table & accessories, as well as the oversized tree wallpaper from Inke to bring more color and pattern into the room.

I'll share photos of her sister's room soon!
