Finally, I'm revealing more of my inspirational images for baby girl King's nursery. Everything started with the Wren bedding set from Serena & Lily which I purchased years ago because I loved it so much and was afraid it might get discontinued one day (crazy right!).
Next I skewed the color pallet a bit after I saw the "color twist" combo via Design Seeds below and pulled out a peachy light coral pink as my central complimentary color.
I gathered more images to make sure I like the look...and the room concept was born.
Next step was to start purchasing decorative accessories. (I already had the glider, crib and changer)
I have actually commissioned my sister to make a 30" x 30" original abstract piece of artwork for the nursery based on my inspirational images. I don't have an extra $3000 to spend on a piece like the one above by Sally Benedict King which I love.
My sister is so talented I can't wait to see how it turns out...more to come as the room progresses! The room won't be finished until December when the fabric for my window treatments comes in...

Beautiful, I cannot wait to see how it all turns out. Sally is a good friend of mine here in Charleston, she really is so talented.
