High vs Low - Parsons Desk

Well this is really more like a low vs even lower.  I love a good Parson's desk and even use one in my home office.  They are fabulous for children's rooms because the price is right and you can easily wipe off marker and pen marks with a little 409.  Anyways, West Elm's Parson's Desk is a personal favorite.  It comes in white and veneer wood finishes and is even available in a mini desk size which can easily double as a bedside table.

High  - West Elm Parsons Desk - $349

Low - Decorator's Collection Parsons Desk - $129

47.5"w x 24"d x 30" h

I mean these look almost identical.  The West Elm version does have two drawers and I can vouch for it that the quality is wonderful for the price.  I've never seen the Decorators Collection piece in person so if any of you have any comments about the quality please share, but $200 off for one less drawer seems pretty darn good. Plus it comes in an assortment of colors like the fabulous orange/yellow below (great for a splash of color in a boy's room or playroom.)
